Microsoft Windows XP
Q: Windows XP home edition cannot browse internet with Internet Explorer 7/8.
A: There are some incompatibilities with XP Home Edition and IE 7/8.
Option 1: Uninstall IE 7/8 from Add/Remove Programs, Windows will reinstate IE6 for you and will ask you to restart after the process is finished. Reboot the machine, you will see your IE is now changed back to IE6 and your internet connection is working!
Option 2: Upgrade Windows XP Home to SP3 and upgrade IE from IE7 to IE8.
