Q: Not able to install SqlServer 2008 says Restart computer failed
A: It is caused by unfinished previous processes. Even rebooting the system could not resolve it.
Work around: Clear the “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations” Registry key and “Rerun”.
